Pub Quiz for Cape Town 4

Pub Quiz for Cape Town 4

Regular price R 150.00 Sale

On Monday, July 20 @ 19h00 we're back with another online lockdown quiz.
Pub quiz master Jon Keevy will be hosting the 4th edition following three successful instalments thanks to you!

Team up (max 6) and collaborate to answer 50 questions correctly. Team names and scores will be posted in the chat. We use the popular streaming platform Twitch to bring you the quiz, all interaction happens via typed chat (we don't see you, you only see Jon, vest-assured).

Who are we playing for?

A number of Cape Town chapters of the Cape Town Together movement have joined forces to raise funds for a group of local tradesmen rendered homeless by the lockdown. All entry fees will be going towards helping assist them during this time to get them back on their feet. Read their story here.

How does the quiz work?

There will be 5 rounds of questions. Each round is a different knowledge category. As questions are asked you will write down your answers on a piece of paper or in a digital notepad. At the end of each round answers are given and you score yourself. You will then share your score + team name in the chat.

1. Purchase your entry here - R150 per team (1-6 people per team). You can pay by EFT and Visa/MC using the Peach Payments option. (You don't have to be in the same room as your team members. Rather practice social distancing and keep the online quiz online, if you can!)

More about our host Jon Keevy

Beyond hosting Let’s Get Quizzical, Jon Keevy is a writer who dabbles in a bit of everything. He’s written about a dozen plays (he’s bad at keeping track) from serious solo shows to raunchy sketch comedies, he’s done a handful of short films, and spent half-a-year writing a fantasy novel about rebels and sentient plants.
